My January Makeup Bag

I haven’t shared with you all the contents of my makeup bag for such a long time! I used to update this post quite often and keep you guys updated when the products changed, but I just haven’t done so in far too long so I thought I’d share my current stash with you.

L’Oréal Lumi Magique Foundation
This is just my absolute favourite foundation. I haven’t found one that comes even close to it! The consistency is quite thin but the pigmentation is high, so you can get great coverage without feeling the product is actually on your skin. It also looks like skin, something I know can be all too rare when it comes to foundations! I love the dewy radiance it gives my complexion, and it’s definitely my go-to.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
This bronzer was such an impulse purchase – I think I was at the counter for a total of about 5 minutes, and I pretty much purchased instantly! So unlike me! But I just couldn’t resist and I truly have not been disappointed. I find that bronzers for pale skin often have a yellow tint to them and that is not what I’m after, I don’t know about you. This is warmer but not too warm, and it blends so nicely.

Laura Mercier Pink Mosaic
As a fan of anything glowy I essentially dip my face in this pan! I’m joking of course, but I don’t half adore the finish that this gives my cheeks. I use the two paler pink shades for a really healthy rosy glow to the apples and then blend the palest shade up my cheekbone for a more subtle highlighter. I also dust a little onto my eyes instead of shadow!

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade
I’ve owned this for approximately 4 days but it’s already found its way into my daily beauty routine. I can’t get over it! I know I’m late to the party but it’s never too late to sort out your unruly brows, and mine were just that. This is surprisingly easy to use and it lasts brilliantly! I’ve been applying it with the #12 brush from Anastasia and I can create a really sculpted yet natural finish. Love love love!

Makeup For Ever Aqua Cream #13
Everyone went nuts for this shadow a couple of years ago, and until MUFE became available in Debenhams I’d never have looked twice at it! I swatched it in store a little while back and have been using it non-stop recently. I just sweep it across the lid and it almost looks wet due to its intense shimmer. I tend to set it with either one of the shades from the Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc or the Balm’s Mary Lou highlighter just to keep it in place.

Maybelline Lash Sensational
This remains unchallenged by any other mascara! It’s still my favourite! I’ve tried quite a few new mascaras recently but non even come close to this. I will forever repurchase – it makes my lashes long, thick and gives a great curl too, as well as being really affordable.

Bourjois Sweet Kiss Hydrating Gloss #2
I’ve not used gloss in ages; I tend to use it more in summer, but I rediscovered this gorgeous formula and now I can’t get enough of it. It’s gel-like in texture and gives a really pouty, full look to the lips, whilst not clinging to any dry patches or being even slightly sticky (sticky glosses should be banned!).

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick #08
I could speak about this lipstick for hours. It’s my most worn lipstick EVER – I’ve nearly finished it, which sure is saying something considering how many lip products I own! It’s my perfect, perfect nude, and it has a permanent home in my handbag.

What’s in your makeup bag?
